Phoenix, Arizona — Moodswingz, a Phoenix-based brand founded by two Arizona State University graduates, is expanding from its podcast and digital community into the local coffee market with the launch of a mobile coffee truck.
Bold Bloom came on before the truck did. The work covers social media, content, community partnerships and the launch itself.
One podcast, a month of posts
Moodswingz was already making the thing that is hardest to make: hours of original talk, every week. It was sitting in one place, in one format, reaching the people who already knew to go looking for it.
So the first job was mechanical. Every episode now gets cut into short-form social, which means one recording session feeds weeks of posts and the accounts stay alive between episodes instead of going quiet for six days and loud for one. Engagement and audience have both climbed since. The clearest jump followed a shoot:

Opening day, and the month around it
A coffee truck opens once. Getting it wrong is expensive to correct, so the content and the plan around the launch are being built now, well ahead of it.
The monthly photoshoots give Moodswingz a standing supply of professional photography and video matched to what is actually coming next (a product release, a campaign, a promotion) rather than a folder of generic shots to reach for when something has to go out.
For the grand opening itself, the plan is to give people a reason to turn up who otherwise would not have: local vendors, nearby businesses, fitness activities, and the Moodswingz community that already exists online. A truck that opens quietly has to find its customers one at a time afterwards.
Who else is in the Valley
The rest of the work is introductions. Bold Bloom has been putting Moodswingz in front of Arizona State University organizations, student groups, athletic communities and local businesses. These are rooms where an audience that already overlaps with the podcast’s is standing together in one place.
None of it converts on the day it happens. It is what makes next year’s collaborations, events and sponsorships possible at all.
After the truck opens
Moodswingz has an audience and does not yet have a business built on top of it. The podcast proved people will listen. The truck is the first test of whether they will buy.
So the job does not finish on opening day. The posting, the shoots, the outreach and the events are what keep an audience in contact with a brand during the long stretches when it has nothing to sell them, which is what makes the next thing Moodswingz launches easier than this one.
